A RARE .32 (RIMFIRE) FOUR-SHOT POCKET-PISTOL, MODEL 'SHARP'S PATENT', serial no. 5537,
circa 1875, with rare unrecorded 4 1/4in. blued barrel group, silver-plated action and receiver with blued push-button opening on a long extension bar, the left side of frame stamped 'TIPPING & LAWDEN, SHARPS PATENT' in a circle, blued hammer with rotary nose, acanthus leaf carved gutta-percha grips and sheathed trigger, Birmingham proofs, the whole retaining most of its original blued and plated finish
